Oi Va Voi
I have to admit – Oi Va Voi is one of my favorite bands. The name comes from a popular Hebrew phrase, which is originally derives from Yiddish and means something like, Oh, no! or Oh, dear! Oi Va Voi is a British band with a very distinctive sound, Their sound draws on traditional Jewish music, Eastern European folklore music and more. In their songs you can find both traditional Jewish music instruments such as klezmer with electronic music. Oi Va Voi often collaborates with other artists, such as talented KT Tunstall.
Matisyahu
You have probably heard about Matisyahu – a very successful American Hassid reggae singer. Like Oi Va voi, but in a very different way, his music is a unique mix of traditional Jewish music and modern sounds. Matisyahu has released three studio albums. This is probably his best known song- King without a Crown. How cool is this??

Yael Naim is best known for her international hit New Soul.
